HIV disguised in this beautiful Zombie movie

Even though in box office takings this movie didn’t perform, I still feel it is a huge success in the sense of being a beautifully crafted movie and enjoyable to watch. Years from now this movie will have a cult following.
The casting couldn’t have been better with Arnie and Abbie, the sense of love between a father and daughter came across very well.
HIV disguised in this beautiful movie as a Zombie infection and very cleverly done. Great movie

Amen. I have to admit that i was highly sceptical of Arnold as the main character, but he did really well, maybe the best acting in his career.

Years from now this movie will have a cult following.

I do hope so.

Agreed. I think people were expecting a tradition zombie mow down fest. I'm not a fan of zombie movies but found this to be very engaging and thought provoking. And also one of Arnie's best performances.

I suppose if this movie was made in the 80s, you could call it HIV disguised as a zombie disease. But with medicine the way it has been the last 10 years, people with HIV are not suffering from having to take painful cocktails or even dealing with significantly shortened lifespan. But I agree, this would be a great take on the AIDS epidemic of the 80s when it was mysterious and untreatable.
