It's good!

I really liked it. This movie just sort of sucks you in. The anticipation of what's going to happen and the progression of Maggies "illness" makes this really interestin. Of course Arnold really brings his A-game. His hulking figure with somber fatherly personality is something really fresh. This movie deserves a higher rating, it's great little movie.

I concur. I think it's really good. Very sad as well. Imagine that being your daughter, or being her. All the haters just want 28 Days later types of movies, which are good, but this gave it a different perspective.

Well to be fair, I think the trailer made it look like there would be a bit more action/horror. So if you go in expecting one type of movie and get something completely different I can understand why it put people off. But for a family drama about a man watching his daughter slowly die, it was fantastic. I found it really compelling and cried several times.

As a father of four, three of them young ladies...I empathized so much with Armold's character. He did well in this one.

I imagine myself acting and doing the same things he did to protect his daughter. It made the ending more fitting fir me when they both realized in the end that he couldn't keep his promise and he stay by her side to the very end.

Same here - I have two children and really felt Arnold's plight... absolutely devastating - great film.
