Arnold's Acting
The movie was okay, It could have been better but loved the acting and was surprised that I actually forgot that he's Arnold Schwarzenegger. What do you guys think?

shareThe movie opened theatrically here in Italy on June 25 and a friend of mine and I went to see it last Saturday - both he and I felt the same in that we actually forgot that it was Arnold playing the role. What an AMAZING performance by him.
shareI loved it... I went in expecting it to be exactly what it was and thought Schwarzenegger played his role exceptionally well...
I don't know if I'd have seen it if it wasn't for Arnie as I wanted to check him out in a non action or comedy role and didn't (initially) care for the subject matter, but him and Breslin really pulled me in...
This was a very subtle 'zombie' movie that was more about human emotion, great acting, beautiful photography and a perfect musical score.
I can stand behind this.
I didn't see it as a zombie movie though, it became much more than that as the film evolved.
I decided to watch it *despite* the fact that Arnold has the lead role, and was very pleasantly surprised. Not so much as a fistfight ensued; good for the filmmakers.
Still a movie star, but now an actor, as well.
There was one scene that stood out for me, it took place inside their house. Arnold stands up and moves toward his daughter, and as he does, he wipes a tear from his eye...very sad and moving.
shareTop shelf performance IMO.
Creasy: Okay, my friend. It's off to the next life for you. I guarantee you, you won't be lonely..
He did a great job!
