Annoying...

Love the show, but can't stand how we get an episode or two followed, oftentimes, by a stretch of several weeks with nothing...

Would it be that hard to produce the episodes before the season begins so they can be played weekly?

The trade-off to that is that each season would be half a year apart.

The long gaps between episodes annoy me too.

I think I'd prefer this over back-to-back new episodes, followed by a looooong hiatus before a new season. That's what South Park does now, and it annoys the crap out of me.

The inconsistent pacing has always bothered me I've just never understood the point. I mean why bother all the hype for new seasons and episodes if yer just gonna air 2-3 at a time with months in between. I don't even think the production schedule is a factor I think it's mostly Nick's shot callers playing favorites with their live action shows since it's always thundermans or harvey danger filling the gaps.

Another rotten thing about the spacing out of these episodes is Nick is really bad about getting the word out about when they air.

The fb page for TMNT is updated lackadaisically along with the official TMNT twitter account and they only post new episode announcements every so often. If it wasn't for the TMNT 2012 wikipedia page I wouldn't even have a hint to when they would air at all.

I only even found out about the S3 finale being posted a week earlier by browsing the TMNT page on nick.com by pure accident.

But despite all this, Nick is doing something right. Here we are heading into S4 and the show has been renewed for a fifth season. I hope this show continues for a long time.
