I agree with the list. It pretty much nails everything I love about this version of TMNT. Sadly, having said that, I seem to be the only person I know that enjoys it. My friends like the original 80s series and the '03 version better than this one.

Oh well. Taste is subjective and everyone has the right to their own opinion.

In short, referential humor and cameos = best version. Lol, I do like Splinter and Shredder a lot in this version. The back story may be an improvement over all other versions.

The back story at least is a bit more logical. It explains how Splinter is so adept at ninjitsu, rather than the rather less believable "I watched my owner practicing" or the freaking awful Michael Bay "Picture books! DUUUUUUR!"
