So very sad that many brilliant posts have (...so called) "expired" here
Warning to people, This board is very active when the show airs, but because it's been off-screen for over a year now, IMDB have, by now, automatically deleted the very vast majority of the older and very interesting threads. After all, it's IMDB policy not to provide these discussion boards as an "archive medium". So they automatically accord less storage space to boards which are deemed too quiet to archive. Hence this board now has posts which stretch back barely a year, which very much means that many great threads, are now deleted forever.
As far as Paranormal Witness is concerned that is actually a great shame, because we are now missing some of the most brilliant posts about this series, from the past 4 or five years. Often there were some great debates between we users, and sure we didn't all agree but at least there were some pretty interesting arguments between us all. Moreover, there have been times, for example, when persons who have narrated on some of the earlier series, have posted at length, here, about their experiences, when their interviews were filmed. Myself, I even thanked and responded to certain persons who appeared on the show, for airing what happened to them publicly, yet when I go through my own posting history from the past few years, I see that these also have been deleted automatically. I'd love to re-read these most interesting posts now, particularly re what participants wrote about their own experiences on the show, but now cannot. Also, for newbies, when the new episodes air, the lack of older posts, about this very interesting series, makes for even more of a shame.
Sigh... new people will undoubtedly come to this board when the series re-airs and will ask many of the same old questions, which if only we could point to older posts, a lot would be explained about the show.
Myself, I'm frankly kicking myself for not taking copies of the best threads here over the years, when I had the opportunity to do that - because now that they've been lost forever, there's almost nothing anyone can do. I just trusted (yes, I know, my mistake) that the most interesting threads would always be here. How wrong I was to presume that the best threads would be archived over time. My bad indeed...
Having said that, I would kindly ask anyone who personally backed up some of the most interesting past threads from those persons who appeared on this show, and who posted on this board previously, to add their full responses to this thread, not just for this grateful poster, but more importantly so that those who will be new to the show (when it airs again) can learn for themselves, a lot about how this most interesting show is produced.
Thank you.
