Surely Series 4 , ep 7 = The best of the current series to date.
Now that was a fascinating episode.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW
No matter how many of these type of programmes I've seen, there were moments in this episode, when I didn't want to look at the screen.
And, what's more, I might add that it was also good to see less of the ol' 'creative licence' in this episode.
Nonetheless, I've two comments for other viewers, and the first is about the tape recording.
The voice, I heard say, "...will die"
That much I could make out.
However, it didn't sound like "she..." to my ears. It sounded more like "they all will die" or even "cheer will die", rather than "she will die"
Anyone else agree that that isn't "she" in that recording? Or, that the word/s preceding "will die", were just too indistinct to make out?
Secondly, when they put crucifixes up, I found it odd that no mention was made of their being inexplicably removed shortly afterwards, as has been reported in certain other cases. In other words, they placed religious emblems on the walls, and they somehow remained in place!? That struck me as being odd, given the circumstances, and what's been reported many times previously; yet, OTOH, perhaps even a detail which they overlooked or such was edited out, but I do find it hard to believe that they remained in place to this day...
That being said, this was IMO one of the most compelling episodes in all four series to date.
PS- here is a tip, if you want to be surprised, or at least open to being surprised then never watch the preview minute at the start of every episode of PW, as it usually gives too much away. I never watch the preview minute (unless I'm re-watching an episode), and I definitely find watching PW all the better for avoiding it. Turn the sound down and walk out of the room for the first minute if you must, but whatever you do, don't watch the preview at the start of every episode. HTH
