Did this episode contradict the film version of The Conjuring?

I saw The Conjuring when it hit the theaters two years ago and after watching the PA episode "The Conjuring", the events depicted were not even close especially in regards to the Warrens. In fact in this episode, the father Roger Perron threw the Warrens and their psychic out of the house and it ended with them leaving, which was far different from the events of the movie. This episode seemed one sided as well, only telling the Perron side of the story as well which seemed very biased towards the Warrens. My question is, if Roger and his family thought that Warrens were sketchy, then why did they go along with the 2013 film which, was not an accurate depiction of what went on? Did this episode also tarnish the credibility of the Warrens? After this episode, it is hard to tell what really happened since their are very minimal similarities between the film and PA Documentary.
