The Wolf Pack

Wonder why they didn't investigate the hole they found in the woods. In the daylight you'd think they'd go out there with guns or try to coax out whatever animals might be in there.

One of the most frustratingly scripted episodes, unfortunately - they made the family look like idiots, frankly. The guy was two inches from picking up his keys but instead abandons the effort when the creature approaches...then when the beastie bolts, rather than quickly pick up the keys and get into his truck, he instead retreats back to the house.

I love PW, but they could have done a much better job with this without making the people look like utter morons.

IMDB's "ignore user" button = priceless :)

That idiot dad was pissing me off that whole episode, trying to go get a gun from outside with creatures right there? Then the whole time hes talking about how much protecting his family is important to him, while hes luring the creatures closer by going outside over and over when the mom tells him not to.
Such a moron, just wait til daylight and barricade the doors/windows. This was by far the most fake episode yet

mv5, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You took the words right out of my mouth!! By FAR, this episode was THE MOST STUPID, REDICULAS and MORONIC one EVER!! I was SO P. O'd at the 'father' (hardy har har!!-JERK!) and the Mum? Argue much?? THIS episode really got under my skin. NO common-sense.

Have you EVER met someone from Maine? Enuf said.

I missed some parts, why were the guns in the barn and the truck but none in the house? The kids were old enough, so that wouldn't be an issue.

For the sake of argument, assuming this all really happened---what frustrated me about this episode was the fact that we got no follow-up info. Daylight came and suddenly the episode was over. Did they move out? Did they stay? Did the "creatures" ever come back, or was it a one-time thing?

(edit added later) Some other things that bothered me about this episode:

When they were sitting out on the porch in the beginning of the episode, and saw the glowing lights moving in the distance, what were those supposed to be? Especially considering that the "werewolves" turned out to be afraid of light, how could they be glowing with light?

I'd have to watch the episode again to be sure, but wouldn't the keys the husband was using to try and unlock his vehicle be a modern key-fob with buttons to unlock it? Why would he have to fumble trying to put the keys in the lock? (which caused him to drop them)

This episode annoyed me because it was such a fresh premise for an episode and I was so excited - but it was actually so boring and unrealistic. Like the creatures surround the guy then suddenly decide to leave him alone and he somehow manages to make it back inside while having a limp?
