Was Eric working part time for a software company in the Contract

That would explain the money he was getting, I think they were leaving out the fact that Eric was working for a Software company and he probably signed a contract to recruit people for their online gaming platform. Magnus might have been a short name for his Boss, who probably came out and had him sign the contract in person, at which time he probably got a bonus. I think Eric was doing all his activities under the radar of his family, with all the occult elements being embellished.

Something I find odd about "The Contract" is that there was no follow-up interview about that episode. All the other episodes this season have follow-up interviews seen here in Paranormal Witness: Life After Paranormal:

It makes ou wonder why this one doesn't? They didn't explain much that happened & how Eric made more money other than we are supposed to think he had great luck due to signing a contract with the devil? Other posters here bring up the case of the internet being a bit worse back when this story takes place & I think they may have taken a lot of liberties.

This story definitely feels like much of it was fabricated though I do think there's a degree of truth amidst the craziness.
