I think the people last night were not being stalked by Moth Man.

I must confess that I am not that the familiar with the Moth Man, however from what I read, Moth Man does not haunt a house like a ghost or chuck his feces or whatever it was. From the few things I read about Moth Man, he is not shy about exposing himself to various people and not isolate himself to one couple and when he does, usually some sort of disaster follows. The only disaster these people had was that they had to give up their home. I am not really sure if that was Moth Man, I think it was something else or PW embellished the Moth Man mythos to promote this episode. It felt like they were confused about the mythos of Moth Man, who is an obscure paranormal figure anyway.

Supposedly if you see Mothman it also seems to bring on characteristics of hauntings & other poltergeist activity. A really fun read of a book is The Mothman Prophecies by John A. Keel which has many things similar in it like what happened to these people on PW. The odd phone calls, other odd electrical phenonmena, shrieks/voices, strange sightings, etc.

I have no idea what the doodoo-looking stuff was in the PW story- maybe some sort of ecto-plasm? I have no clue. It always annoys me when people say something like that happened but then they don't take a sample of it somewhere to be tested to see what it is. I know if that happened to me, it'd be one of the first things I would go do.

This episode was an all new low.

It just wasn't plausible. The end was particularly implausible because they already asked it to leave them alone and it didn't obey. So why would it when they left the house they rented?
