So Much Wrong With The Zozo Case (Spoilers)

Not contacting someone who specializes in paranormal investigation and also knows how to eliminate paranormal activity, hard not to feel IQ points drop. Using the homemade Ouija board to try to communicate with the demon was so stupid and made no sense. Not to mention this particular demon is known to often appear during Ouija board sessions (possibly how he was in the home in the first place?). Not even trying to get ahold of the prior owner for his knowledge? In all fairness he may not have known how the demon appeared either but still, it would've been good to have had someone else who experienced the phenomena on the side of Garry and his family.

I enjoyed this episode but the stupidity of the people made me feel like I was watching a Horror film where the characters do the dumbest things that gets them killed.

I also found that strange that no evidence was documented like the clawmarks.

How about the glaring fact that ZOZO does not show up on the list of demons in the dictionnaire internal? I call bull

The name "Zozo" most definitely appears in the 1818 book titled "Doctionairre Infernal." Zozo was one of 3 "imps" suspected of possessing a French girl in 1816, the first known report of Zozo, reported in the "Dictionairre Infernal" only 2 years later... This link (which I'm not sure I can remember to how it make it actually work so, if interested, you may have to copy & paste) has the original (French) exerpt & its English translation on it: www.shortoncontent.wordpress.com/2014/11/22/zozo/

I'm very shocked they didn't do anymore research other than one Google search. Look into the past of the house and track down the previous owner who clearly lied to them.
This is a recent story so I don't know how there people don't know DONT MESS WITH OUIJA BOARDS! Especially when the thing has clearly shown itself to be demonic.

I did more research on all this last night after I watched this episode for the first time & my conclusion is that either (assuming these witnesses actually experienced what they say) they somehow manifested the events due to the 'power of suggestion' or maybe zozo is a tulpa (probably the most famous tulpa nowadays being the slenderman). The reason I arrived at this conclusion is that in March of the same year that this story occurred (2009) the earliest zozo reports to literally light up the Internet came from a guy in Oklahoma City (which is like an hour from Lawton, ty maps app lol). This guy literally posted his story alllll over the www. AND if people all around the world knew about zozo shortly after, i can imagine zozo was pretty famous at that point in Oklahoma. (Anyone from OK that can comment on this, please??) I couldn't find any dates for when this report (hodges in lawton) occured aside from the opening of PW saying it occurred between '2009 and 2010,' which makes me think it happened after march of 2009 &, therefore, any google search involving the word zozo wouldve lead you directly to the 'viral' story at that point (not the dictionnaire infernal; i had to specifically include those 2 words with zozo to get it to come up in first page google hits)... So, yeah. That's my conclusion.

I also came across a news article (released on wed the 19th that there is a live broadcast happening from "the zozo house" in OKC that starts(ed) today thru sunday... I'll get a link

Why would the demon tell them his name? Demons don't want you to know their name. It gives you more power over them.

Yeah, I agree about the name thing. On other stories that pertain to exorcisms it's a challenge to get the demon to say its name. Zozo is apparently going the self advertisement route.
