How the MCU could bring closure to TASM series

So Tom Holland's Spider-Man meets Doctor Strange and they travel to other universes. Spidey ends up in the ASM world just in time to witness Garfield's Spider-Man being fatally gored by The Rhino (remember the end of TASM 2?).
Then Holland's Spidey does pretty much this:

Then immediately leaves that universe and TASM is never brought up again.

That sounds like a terrible idea. I think that if they do anything, it should be a Spider-verse movie with Maguire, Garfield, and Holland teaming up as their personal adaptations of Peter Parker against Morlun.
