New Goblin (Harry Osborn): Filmic Destiny

One of the reasons I really like this under-appreciated vigilantism-daydream comics-adapted American film is because of its proud presentation of the under-rated Spidey-nemesis New Goblin (Harry Osborn).

Harry, son of Oscorp CEO Norman Osborn, is sort of a 'son of perdition' and is not altogether 'thrilled' abut his inherited mutation from his father (the Green Goblin).

Harry Osborn (aka, New Goblin) lends himself to some ideal 'anti-human storytelling' and 'terrorism synopses.'

New Goblin challenged Rhino to meet him at the ice-skating rink at Rockefeller Center (NYC) the morning after the Christmas tree was lit. When Rhino showed up to meet the challenge, New Goblin began assaulting him verbally with all kinds of 'civilization-sarcasm' insults.

"Rhino, you're a brute, but I bet you never considered the simple fun of ice-skating, but why would you (why would a goon of your size be interested in elegance)?"

Just then, New Goblin's rival Demogoblin swooped in, surprised to fing New Goblin and Rhino at the Rocky ice-rink.

"Demogoblin, thank you for coming; I've invited Rhino here too, and I must deal with him first, since he does not have as much concern for the simple beauty of ice-skating as you and I do!"

Demogoblin stepped aside so New Goblin could deal with Rhino for the reasons he described. Demogoblin for a moment wondered why New Goblin held such strange malice in his heart for Rhino but then the answer seemed rather obvious --- New Goblin hated Rhino's sense of pedestrian strength!
