They found a whitetail deer that clearly was shown as having antlers. However they kept referring to it as a 'her'. Female whitetails, called does, don't have antlers, only males do, which are called bucks.
Really lazy writing/props/editing/producing that they left in such an obvious error. If they can't shore up an easy detail like that it's no wonder this movie sucked so bad.
Well, that or it was meant to show that the anarchist hippies were actually in fact the rich trust fund baby children of the evil looting and polluting CEOs who don't know nothing about no deers.

That was kind of weird. As far as I know only the female caribou have antlers. But you're right. They kept referring to it as a doe.🐭
