Considering how high some people, vehicles, buildings, and heavy objects floated in the flashes of anti gravity, especially the last, before falling back to earth, what would you estimate is the casualty count?
What are the odds that the dead and injured did not include any well-liked characters?
Thats a good question... I would think there had to be some deaths considering the damage. Not sure if theyd go there but it'd be rather ambitious if they tackled the real effects of the anomalies, like a minor characters death. Maybe too heavy for a "kids" show but could be interesting.

Having seen "a Tale of Two Stans" I see that the two agents and most of their men seem to have survived all right,and were made to forget about the case, explaining why Stan is not in trouble. At the end Soos called Wendy, so she is alive and well.
Either "a Tale of Two Stans" or the next episodes showed Lazy Susan and Mayor Befuddlford alive and well.
The next episode featured Grenda but not her friend Candy. Is Candy all right? Would Mabel and Grenda seem so happy if something had happened to Candy?
At the end of the next episode we saw Soos playing with Sherrif Bubbs and his deputy and Toby Determined, and then a giant eagle like bird flew off with Toby and the others were too tired to try to rescue him. Thus we see that the three survived the gravity problems but Toby seems doomed to be eaten if the ending is serious and not just a silly joke.
As far as I can tell most of the townsfolk seem to have survived "Not What he seems".
But that doesn't seem like it matters much now.
Ford has been saying that if Bill Cipher ever opens a portal into our universe he will release monsters and destroy the world or the universe.
And at the end of "Dipper and Mabel vs the Future" Bill Cipher tricked Mabel and opened a portal into our universe. Judging by the screams heard in the fade out the end of Gravity Falls, Gravity Falls, and the world has begun.
So far as I could see in later episodes there was no indication that anyone I knw died in the grvity shifts.
The Old Mayor survived the weird stuff and then died (of natural causes?) a little later.
And now it looks like many who survived the gravity shifts were killed temporarily and maybe permanently in the weirdmageddon part one.
