GF is coming to an end (Official)

Disney has announced that the next two episodes will be the last of the series.
Cant blame them for quitting while they are ahead. But I feel they could have had a long running series had they just kept it episodic instead of forcing the plot so fast. It could have been like the x-files, just doing new creatures and adventures each episode instead of having a linear plot. I know people will argue that it was supposed to only take place over one summer and was bound to end quickly, but I mean come on...the south park gangs been in the 4th grade for like 14 years now. Maggie in the simpsons is still a baby and is older than I am. So its not like you need to apply a logical time frame to a cartoon.
