I saw this commercial that stated on March 26 they were going to air Gravity Falls: Between The Pines POST FINALE!
Now idk if maybe I misunderstood but if this is what I think it is, then it's one of the best surprises ever, but I probably shouldn't get my hopes up
Okay, I finally saw this commercial. "Behind the Pines" was a behind the scenes special that aired in February. I'm assuming that the Post Final special is a newer version of it that will contain stuff from the final.

It looks like it'll be an updated/newer version of the first Between the Pines special, which wasn't an episode - it was more of a retrospective/behind the scenes look at the show. However, still pretty exciting nonetheless! A great way to let us have a bit more Gravity Falls without continuing off (and therefore ruining) the ending (which was really well executed).
EDIT: Just checked out Twitter, it looks like this may be the same thing as the first Between the Pines special, with some clips reworked to include clips from Weirdmaggedon 3 and other such minor changes. Alex Hirsch has said he doesn't know anything about it (since he doesn't work at Disney anymore) and suggests people to not get their hopes up too much.
