Cinematography (again)


Once again, a potentially good movie is utterly destroyed by close ups, shaky cam, and constant camera movement. I gave this a 1/10 because of these reasons. C'mon, folks; what's the point of filming explosions (or car chases for that matter) in closeup? I HATE this style.

That's gas because I thought it was absolutely brilliant!! Buddy and myself thought the big explosion was very well done. Loved some of the camera work especially the pan shots when the crew touch down on the rig for the first time as well as some of the helicopter scenes.

Because it feels more real?

I get the hate this style gets but I love it for these kind of films. It feels so much more real than steady, panoramic shot.
