Wow!

If you make a movie based on a "TRUE STORY" it would be nice if it was in fact truth. This is coming from someone who knows people that lost their lives that day.

My statement explains why.... And I didn't talk to a few people, nor do I care who was on set. My family lived it!

The better question is what do you know, besides what has been told to you. I said FAMILY, not friend. So, after I have stated a fact it made no sense to come and as me a question based on what you've heard. My remark is not up for debate.

heathermorganjohnson - I have to back up GoProNoBro. 1) If what you have to say isn't up for debate, don't put it on a public forum!! Duh! 2) You still haven't told us even one thing about this movie that is untrue. I would truly like to know in what ways this movie was not true to real events. After I saw The Revenant, I heard that the guy actually never killed the guy that left him for dead. He forgave him - let it go. That pissed me off. This man will be remembered in a way that is totally untrue and against his nature. So, if this movie is untrue, I'd like to hear some examples. I would like the views and feelings of your family to be heard. But I'm guessing that since survivors of the catastrophe consulted on this, it's pretty accurate with the things that matter.

I am sorry for the loss of your family member.
