Goofs: the riser tensiometer cables are not moving;

We have several views of the top of the riser from the moon pool. Remember folks the riser is connected to the BOP landed on the seabed, while the rig is.... floating. It amazes visitors when they look at the riser top from the moon pool, as i you have the impression it is going up and down, while in fact, it is the rig moving, and the riser is fixed. Of course, to hold it in place, you have what is called "compensators", which are supporting the riser via cables. Hydraulic pistons are moving up and down according to the heave. But in all the views of the moon pool, nothing is moving.
