What was the purpose of the bees?
The scene with the bee hives. What were they suppose to represent? And, since bees live on "flowers" what the heck were they eating???

Homer: Or what? You'll release the dogs? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark, they shoot bees at you?
Aside from being a sign of hope in a dystopian world, seeing how K had never seen Bees, his reaction to them is fascinating. I think that scene says a lot about who he is deep down. Poignant and beautiful moment.
