Plot hole? How did K know which car Deckard was in?

Hello everyone. I think I've found a slight plothole. I love the movie, so I am not one of those nitpicker haters, but I would like to know what you think about this.

Near the end of the movie, when K is chasing Deckard trying to save him, how does K know which of the three cars Deckard is in? K chases three cars, and knocks down the ones at the sides, which were flying at a lower height.

My interpretation is K knows these two side cars are guarding the one in the middle, but still Deckard might have been in the right or the left car, as a diversion. Another interpretation could be that K actually sees Deckard through the cars windows, but this is not very consistent with what we see onscreen, where the cars fly at a distance and their insides are not very visible. Even if the first interpretation is more sound, it's still a plot hole in my opinion. One could assume K simply gambled.

Any thoughts?

Wasn't Deckard in a larger, passenger-specific type of vehicle, while the other two were smaller two-person spinners? I have a faint memory of seeing all three taking off, and IIRC, the one with Deckard was the only one with large bubble-like windows.

Thanks. Indeed the car with Deckard was in the middle in an outstanding fashion, and perhaps the other two cars were smaller, although I don't specifically recall whether or not. Still the middle car could have been a decoy, Deckard being carried in one of the other two. One could assume the kidnappers wouldn't bother with a diversion maneouver, but still one can't rule out some possible gambling by K, which makes this issue unexplained at least.

Well, just from what's shown, I do remember feeling a bit worried that K might accidentally shoot down the vehicle in the middle, as he could barely see the three of them. I definitely remember a feeling of "is he sure of what he's shooting at???"

I have seen the movie twice, but since my cousin alerted me to this issue after the first watching, I only payed attention to this the second time around. For the moment there won't be a third one, so it'll be some time until I rewatch this particular scene. Thank you nevertheless.

You're right. The middle car was bigger.

We can see this at the beginning of this trailer, coincidentally.
