I understand some things needed to be changed. But it was still fun to watch.

Yeah, just watch it again. Still just an okay movie.

As someone who have read the books more than twice - and the first five books more than that - I can say that they messed up the movie from the start. I can't even begin to describe the number of simple mistakes to the biggest blunders I've ever seen in a book-to-movie adaptation. I tried watching PCSoM, but when it came to the "cruise ship Andromeda", I just screamed in fanrage and turned of the movie...
