Why does it say 2013 for this movie here .. and 2011 on IMDb?

Filmed in 2011, premiered the festival circuit fall 2011, then was bought but did a few more festivals before a wide US release in summer 2013. I keep my ticket stubs and I saw it August 27 2013.
