Crispian's a LIAR(Possible Major Spoilers)

Despite what a lot of people are saying that she was meant to be spared by the killers on the alleged orders of Crispian, I think that Erin was in fact meant to die along with the parents and the two siblings that weren't in on the scheme. Think about it. There are several clues throughout the film that showed that she was an intended victim from the very beginning even though she isn't a relative to the family, who are the main targets. I don't believe that she was suppose to be a witness. Just another obstacle for her boyfriend to get what he wants. Crispian was a damn liar!!! But I'll get to that in a few moments. Now, bear with me.

1. When the family gets attacked by the killer shooting crossbow arrows from outside and are using chairs to shield themselves, Erin is the last person to run through shielding herself with a chair and the killer purposefully shot at her. Yes, the killer was shooting at the family members, had killed Crispian's sister's boyfriend, and he got the older brother in the back. But why did he seemingly mainly try to get Erin the most?

2. In the kitchen where she was locking the doors and windows and grabbed a butcher knife to arm herself, one of the killers all of sudden punched through the window and grabbed Erin by the throat which prompted her to stab him in the arm to let her go. Again, why did the killer try to seemingly mainly get her? Especially knowing that most of the others are in the front room together?

3. The highlighted scene of the film where Erin revealed herself to be a serious badass, one of the killers was specifically targeting her yet again. The killer busted through the glass window with Kelly's body and with the intention of killing Erin when he swiped at her a few times. With Felix and Zee being in the room to witness this, I guarantee you that if he would've succeeded in killing Erin if she didn't have training in combat and survival, he wouldn't have gone after them because they're the people that had hired him.

4. When she and Zee had gotten finished hammering nails into wooden planks in order to set a trap for the killers, Zee was about to use one of the planks to kill Erin. Sure, she saw her as threat(and possibly scared of her) in their plans and wanted to get rid of her. But why kill the girlfriend of her boyfriend's brother?

5. The scene where she finds the father's body, one of the killers was in the room and was about to attack her which prompted her to jump out of the window.

6. When the killers, Felix, and Zee were chasing her after she found out about their scheme, how come Felix said to the killers, "Get her! Get her!"? As one person here had pointed out, the other family members were already dead. The only people left at that point were Felix, Zee, Crispian, and Erin. Why couldn't they have just stopped right there and use both Erin and Zee as witnesses?

7. After Erin had royally taken care of Felix and Zee, Felix's cell phone ranged which revealed Crispian to be the caller and mastermind behind the whole thing. As one other person had said, when he was talking to who he thought was his brother, not once did he ask about Erin or if she was safe. Sure, he mentioned their mother, but he didn't even ask about his girlfriend. And he was the one that brought her there in the first place!!!

Again, keep in mind that neither Erin nor Zee were a member of this family and couldn't truly gain anything out of the inheritance if it weren't for their boyfriends. And for that matter, neither could the sister's boyfriend. The only reason Zee wasn't in any danger from the killers is due to her being in on the plan. So, besides to keep them from telling the cops about what's really going on if they found out about the devious plan, why kill the sister's boyfriend and Erin?

Most importantly, his demeanor when he saw that Erin was the last person left says a lot. Not to mention him stuttering(a symptom of when someone is lying) when he was trying to explain himself to her. And the look on her face clearly shows betrayal and disappointment as he keeps flapping his gums.

You know, even if Crispian actually intended for her to survive and be a witness in the situation, he'd put her through a lot of crap she didn't ask to be a part of. And for what? Because of greed and the fact that his family is dysfunctional?

Just my two cents.
