they never actually said one way or another, Johnny said simons had a sexuality all his own, so its possible but not certain.
shareExactly, that scene vaguely implies Simons was gay and had sex/groupsex with himself and that Johnny was gay as well but leaves it up to interpretation. I haven't seen the second season.
"Need" is just a fiction. As is "should", "must", "value" and "importance".
