I actually really enjoyed this. Not sure why it was so trashed by the critics. A lot of the complaints I read were about how unlikable the characters were. I thought that was kinda the point, no? We're not supposed to like and feel for them. Similar to Kietel in Bad Lieutenant. Sleazy, drab and out of control. And that's why it worked. Not pleasant to sit through...and not supposed to be. But engaging in its depravity.
