It is a worthless observation, but just in case you are unaware Wentworth Miller has African ancestry, as does one of the detectives.
It would be a serious mistake in judgement to believe that every movie should have a cross-section of ethnicities that represent the real cross-section of ethnicities in society. If we understand how movies are cast, aside from how a character is written, they hire well-known actors for the box office draw, and they hire people who are connected, e.g. they are known by the director or producer, or some other key person on the production staff. People give jobs to actors they like and are familiar with, they don't go into it looking for a particular ethnic mix. Unless the script calls for it and it is important to the story.
In this movie the 5 actors who played the 5 men friends had to look plausibly compatible. So that also narrows the choices some.

I think it's worth pointing out that, no matter how diverse a particular society is, people tend to have people of their own race as close friends and SOs. ("Tend to" OK? I'm not saying always.)
It's actually unrealistic to portray a small group of close-knit friends as being racially diverse. Do people complain when all the actors in a Tyler Perry movie are black? Of course not, because that's an accurate depiction of the racial makeup of a group of predominantly black friends. Ditto with the white guys in this movie.
