Episode 5 Thoughts--Another Incredible Episode(Spoliers)

Cathy Bates Characters returned to Kill John Henry Moore

Michael Completes The 7 Wonders

Michael Brings Back Misty

Stevie Nicks Returns in A cool scene right from Coven

We End With A Shot Of Murder House, Where Madison and Behold Chablis are going to investigate Michael's Beginnings(Previews reveal They actually Buy the house, we get a shot of Jessica Lang, dont know if shes a ghost or still alive)

and My favorite part, We Got A Reference to "The Blood Moon" which I'm hoping leads to some kinda of small Roanoke crossover...

This Season is Incredible So far!

Thoughts????

Loved every short minute of it! What took this show so long to get back on track like this? This is great TV viewing! My favorite part was bringing Misty back.

As much as I enjoyed it, I found it to be mostly a filler episode. It was fairly predictable; more of a procedural leading to who gets to be the leader but we already know how that turns out. Stevie Nicks was an affectation. The scene where she comes in just to sing (like the 3rd season) feels tacked on and extraneous.

The only takeaway I got from this episode was a major question regarding Ms. Meade. If Michael can resurrect Misty from Helldust, why can't he do the same with Meade? Why did he need to make a robot replacement?

As for crossovers, so far we got: Murder House, Coven, and Hotel. And if the Devil shows up, we may probably get some kind of reference to Asylum since it was in that season. I really don't see any reason why they would crossover with Freakshow, Roanoke and especially Cult (the most worthless and inconsequential season). I know you have a major boner for Roanoke but I just don't see it happening, unless they get Lady Gaga to do a scene referencing the original supreme again.

You did hear the "Blood Moon" reference right?

after that I dont know why "You dont see it happening"

also at this point, I dont have An Roanoke Boner....Instead I An entire "Series" crossover boner....

You see, all Marketing and Promotion leading up to this season Billed this as A "MH/Coven" crossover(which got me Incredibly excited)....

But something happened in Episode 4, we also Got A Hotel Crossover completely out of no where....I do not believe anybody expected that and it for sure wasnt in mentioned in any of the marketing....

and It immediately got me thinking about an Idea that I can say I truly never once considered until the moment the HOtel Crossover Happened....

what if this is An Entire Series cross over, What If we have flashbacks or crossover to every season of AHS, I must admit It got me extremely excited and I dont mind admitting "I got a Boner for it"

When The reference to The "Blood Moon" Happened, That got me excited about there definitely being A potential Roanoke crossover...

I do admit, I find it difficult to imagine how they are going to crossover Asylum and Freakshow considering they took place in such different times....but I'm sure its possible, But I'd be more than Happy with just Cult and Roanoke crossover to go along with the Hotel,MH and Coven crossovers....

I think anything is on the table at this point....

also sorry to hear your not enjoying the season too much....that sucks

I felt the same way about Cult, I liked it but for me it was by far the weakest season and season I least enjoyed....

But thankfully This season has Been Great for me(after episode 1) I was very disappointed in The first episode

Considering how many posts you have done on the subject of your love of Roanoke, I don't think my characterization is inaccurate.

Also, I didn't say I wasn't enjoying this season. In fact, in my last post, I said I enjoyed the episode. But I also recognized it for what it was; a procedural filler episode. Like most things in life, two seemingly contradictory things can be true.

As for this being a crossover season...it is, but really only for Coven and Murder House. Those are the two storylines that are essential to the plot of this one. Hotel got a prominent cameo only because one of the witches from Coven needed to be retrieved. But I don't think this is a season where they are going to see how much fan service they can shove in our faces just to show that they crossed over every season.

Hotel was essentially an easter egg. A big one for sure, but an easter egg nonetheless. Easter eggs are just shout-outs. But they are ultimately inconsequential to the main plot. The reference to the Blood Moon was another one, albeit a small one. So while we might get more little easter eggs from other seasons, that doesn't make this year an all seasons crossover extravaganza. If they started throwing in plotlines involving Cult, Asylum, Freak Show and Roanoke, it would essentially be the same thing as the Stevie Nicks scene; an affectation. Besides, I really doubt they are going to have time to do that. Its a short season with, so far, the shortest episodes of any season.
