I'd say Asylim is the best season, but Freak Show is still the most emotional, it was most exciting and entertaining season. Some freak characters were excellent too.
SPOILER: Although, I really hated Roberts's death scene, it was the worst part from the whole show. It was depressed, disturbing and needless.

That was my fave season, but might just be because its the first one and I felt like it was a "new" type show.

Yes for certain. I almost felt like I was just trying to get through it. And I love Lily Rabe and there was lots of her, but that still didn't save it for me. I can't believe Murder House got one vote for worst! I think its always going to be my number one choice, not even sure if its because it was the first season or the best season. I was SO excited when AHS came out. I'm the only one so far who picked it as number one. ;)

1.Murder House-overall feel was creepy and exciting
2.Hotel-Sound track, wardrobe, and Lady Gaga was awesome!
3.Asylum- The devil plot was fun.
4.Freakshow- Creepy clown was memorable.
5.Coven-disliked overall all.
