Forgive me if I sound stupid.. lbs
I've read some posts regarding the ending of season six. Seems like people have mixed feelings about the seasons as a whole, some just hate the finale, some admitted the format wasn't to their taste, but they still thought it was clever, I suppose. But a reoccurring thing I've seen come up, and is debated pretty much every time I saw it brought up, is did this season 6 incorporate like actual, real life deaths at any point. Some people were saying it was a new age horror thing and some people were throwing around snuff film. I've seen that this season has multiple shows in a show in a show, but do they actually show real people being actually murdered on some found footage something? I've seen many parts of all seasons of this show, though I've only seen asylum and coven all the way through. Could someone spoil this or explain what's being discussed when people are referring to some of the footage as snuff films? I saw several people who were saying the whole season was a satire on our media and the watchers of it, reality television, one guy referred to this season as "American Horror Story's 'Natural Born Killer' season" (Big fan of NBK), but I really don't wanna be tricked or deceived into watching actual people die on screen at any point so yea. Thanks in advance for elaborating on my concerns!
P.S. Do I need to watch any of the other seasons or all of the other seasons as a pre-requisite to this one? I know it's an anthology series, but also saw people referring to season one and two regarding season six, as if they might be tied together I guess? Is "season one and two" referring to a setup this season establishes or do I need to watch season 1 and 2 in their entirety before watching this season. (If there is actual people shown being murdered in real life, feel free to skip answering my post script question as I won't be watching season 6 8; that's the case.
