Hotel - does it get better?

I'm 2 episodes in and I'm really not loving it. I don't care about the characters, the story, and frankly the sexual assault, rape and drug use is putting me off. Does it get better? On the flip side Gaga is excellent, but not enough to carry it alone.

I didn't really start liking it until a few episodes in. The rape in the first episode really put me off as well, but I kept at it and eventually really liked it. It does stay heavy on the dark themes though.

give episode 3 a try. for me it gets better there (as if it wasn't already great for me)

I agree with miaow. If you're not liking it at the end of episode 3 try something else. I loved it but if I'm not hooked by 3 episodes of a show I dump it.

Is it really that hard for people to think for themselves?

Finish it and come to your own conclusion. Nobody is going to tell you for sure whether it is or isn't because not everyone likes the same thing and certainly don't have the same opinions all of the time.

I stuck with it, it did get better, but it wasn't my favourite season.

I agree it has a slow start but it did pick up. I put it about number 3 behind Asylum and freak Show. It's definitely not as bad as Roanoke which I'm five or six episodes and and still hate.
