As nice as the ? ad campaign + concise season was...

It really killed this board 

Standard procedure for five years had been we all start discussing the new season right after it's announced at Paleyfest in March, and we finish discussing the season usually in February two or three weeks after the finale. Cause of the weirdness of the mystery theme last year + the shorter season (with no mid-season break), it only gave us from around June or so until only around mid-November.

For that reason alone, I hope the show at least announces the theme at Paley this year. I could live with the shorter seasons continuing, I guess.

Less than forget. But more than begun.

Though I think it was a great move to do a secret season after five years of giving tons of information out, it would be nice to have a theme in mind at least. I agree that it gives people something to talk about when the show is in hiatus. The problem for me with releasing info is that people build up a specific vision for the season and when it doesn't pan out the way they imagined, they are disappointed.
