Pig mutilation

I know it's for storyline purposes, but I could do without the pig mutilation and squealing noises

A little much

Agreed.

The show isn't called American Comedy Story

It's just an overused cliche in horror movies. The whole animal killing thing. It gets a little old

reply

Then maybe horror isn't the genre for you. It's not getting old to most fans because we know that (excluding Cannibal Holocaust and Friday the 13th) it's not real. We're able to distinguish between fiction and reality, and know that it's asinine to go online and complain that we were disturbed by something which we were meant to find disturbing.

reply

I know this is a late reply, but oh shut up. I know it's not real. Like I said it's on overused cliché and you can't tell me that it's not. Pretty much every horror movie you watch, you can see the animal killing scene coming a mile away. It doesn't turn me off from watching the movie, I just think filmmakers need to find different ways of trying to create an evil, scary atmosphere in their movies. Time to start getting more creative.

reply

It's no different than the minotaur in coven.

reply

Except that minotaurs are not real and pigs are.

reply

They stuck a bull's head on the slave they were torturing so same thing.

I don't know...pigs can be pretty scary when they are the wild, mean kind. I was walking my tiny chihuahua, recently, on a street where I live, in West Texas...we live in a tiny town-lots of raw country near us....and came face to face with a seemingly peaceful (wild) Javalena hog grazing in a neighbor's yard, not 10 feet from us. The fangs on these things can rip you dead in seconds, if they are so moved. I picked up my little dog and ran back to my house! So, to me, the pig sounds are scary.

If a fake animal head triggers you then you are watching the wrong show

This thread makes me want to go kill an animal.

Less than forget. But more than begun.
