Because she's cheap, duh. The Countess is not meant to be a goddess or anything. She is all about facade. That's her entire character. That's the point.

It's a double entendre. Hence the joke. What is so confusing here? You can say you don't like the joke that's totally fine but to say you don't understand why it's there is so weird to me. It's clearly a joke to show us just how overly sexual and... kinda immature about it the Countess is. It's not hard to see why it's there.

Yeah I'm with Lana. It was a play on the word come because Elizabeth wanted to hook up with Will and needed Tristan's help. Obviously Tristan got the jist about the intend and not that she just mispelled come. It wasn't really any deeper than that.
