the seasons connecting
Something I've thought about before, and now a bit more so, knowing we'll have at least 9 seasons total.
Regarding the seasons connecting, I can see the show ending one of two ways.
A: Things stay as they are now, with some connections, but never any explained larger significance.
B: There turns out to be a sort of big picture that connects them all in a grand way.
Personally, I'm in favor of A. I feel like B would be reaching too much. It would make the show feel like it was taking itself too seriously, in attempting to explain a mythology that isn't really even there. It would just feel awkward and clunky, especially if/when we were inundated with scenes of characters played by the same actor were to meet. Plus, that would be a scheduling nightmare and a logistic/filming nightmare (/opportunity?)
