OT Oh look, she's wearing hijab. I wonder if head scarves were as controversial back then as now. Big shtstorm going down here about two little girls wearing hijab on an advertising banner to show diversity for our national holiday coming up. White extremists threatened them until it was taken down.

I wore headscarves when I was going through chemo. Not once did anyone abuse me or try to pull it off. But put headscarves on two innocent little girls and the white supremacists have a field day. Cowards.
