now i just heard someone say hotel was campy, like coven campy. was it? the hotel i saw was pretty dark and depressing actually. i noticed nothing campy about it (okay it got a little cartoonish at times)
at first i thought most people said it was the worst cause everyone has different opinions. turns out we weren't watching the same thing after all ?
Why is it so hard for people these days to understand the concept that people can watch the same thing and have different reactions to it? Your personal experience in watching something doesn't have anything to do with anyone else's.
This is the type of show where they're going to do what they want. Some of the things will work for some people other things might not. All we can do is see what they come up with and decide for ourselves if we like it or not.
With me, every season left me feeling a mixture of joy, disappointment, excitement, boredom, fear, hilarity, and embarrassment. That's part of why I love this show. I can't wait to see what those crazy bastards come up with next next. Lol
Campy has different meanings for different people. I thought it had a lot of campy moments myself, especially the storylines involving Lady Gaga's character. I mean, getting assassinated to Hotline Bling was a little campy, don't you think?
