Asylum (spoilers about the skin face killer)

I just finished episode 5 of Asylum and I really did not expect Dr Oliver to be the killer.

I always thought he was a bit off and seemed weirdly anxious about the reporter, and focused on her a lot. And I thought it was really weird that he wanted Kit to record that he killed his wife and stuff too but I didn't think he was the killer. It wasn't until he said to the guard when leaving the Asylum when Jude wanted him to come back inside, "Tell her I don't work here. I never did." that I was like ooohhhhhh *beep* he's the killer!!

Man they did a good job with him. Love this show so much.

Skin Face Killer was almost as scary as Polyurethane Man from season 1.

Less than forget. But more than begun.

Neither of them compare to Crazie the Clown.

I personally preferred the Hatchet Boy from American Horror Story: Witches

Was that the one with Voodoo Mama Juju?

This one wins. Can't stop laughing

I was really surprised too. I really trusted him.

That's why I think it was the best season because I was surprised at that twist. At first I was like, yay Lana is safe! But his place did give a weird, subtle vibe that something is wrong and that started to build. I'm not sure if there's been a moment since where I was pleasantly surprised by a plot point.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Does everyone else also get that this killer is inspired by ed gein

So? Most fictional serial killers are going to base it on real ones because that's easier and it's a good way to claim realism. Does that add to your enjoyment of the story though?
