They need to do a western season
There are so many things they could do in the old West.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.
You can do something about greed, with gold or oil.
Native American legends.
A serial killer in the old west.
Chinese mystacism.
Possibly a religious theme, like a cult or someone starting their own religion, like how the Mormons just started a religion and were persicuted.
The Donner party.
Deadwood with a supernatural storyline.
There's a lot you can do that isn't just gunfighting or cowboys and Indians. I would have to do research, but I'm sure there are tons of creepy and unexplained stories from back then. And lots of horrific things that were more common.
They've cover lots of time periods in American Horror Story and the west is part of Americana.
That's a good list, but like I was disappointed Roanoke wasn't all set in the past when I heard about it, then I realize the tremendous expense period pieces can be. Asylum --almost all old scenes in a building. Freak Show --almost all set in a small piece of land in tents. Flashbacks in Hotel and Murder house--limited and all in the established set. Roanoke was out in the woods. To make a good western, you'd need to film on location and a lot of it would need to be outside (can't all take place in one saloon) and then it gets really pricey really fast.

I also was thinking the west. I think they should do "Casino" and set it in the early Casino building era. I also was thinking native american legends and a return of the vampires.
shareI hope not. Hotel doesn't need a rival for the worst season ever.
If there is a Muslim ban, they can pretend they're Christians. You know, like Republicans do.
I've been campaigning for a Wild West season for five years now.
Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme.
Less than forget. But more than begun.
