It's really strange to me, the emotions I've felt since learning of this place's demise.
I call it "The Five Stages of IMDb Withdrawal:"
Shock > Anger > Bargaining (finding new sites, considering petitions) > Emptiness > Acceptance
A part of me needed IMDb to pull the plug, because I haven't been able to do it myself, even though I've known for years that I'd be better off without its distraction. Still not an easy thing to move on from, though.
