7.8 What happened? - Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) Discussion

I'm surprised Civil War is higher than this. Civil War was a good action flick but began to crumble under its own weight. The Winter Soldier is an amazing action film with a surprising amount of underlying messages about governments and their people. Just my two cents though.

I agree Calvin. Civil War just has a higher rating, because of the more characters they have in it.

Personally I loved Winter soldier and Civil War equally both easily 9.5/10 for me!

But yeah winter soldier needs to be at least an 8.1

I did enjoy this more than Civil War...CW ws ambitious but that´s about all it was...but people just love to see all those characters on screen at ones...

Except the movie has had the 7.8 before Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman even came out.

A 7.8 with 511k votes is a great score though, in fact anything in the 7's is good.

This movie is way above The Avengers. Way above. The Avengers was Masters of the Universe done right. This movie is way better.
