Musical ep, was ok
At first I was like, oh no, please don't listen to the fans......really don't like too much fan pandering ....but they made it make sense somehow it was nice.

shareI thought it was going to be pure Cheese Wiz, but I think it's the best episode in ages and am in no hurry to delete it from my DVR. Disney has been the champion of musicales for years and they obviously put more effort than usual into this ep. I loved that Rumple refused to sing! And Lana Parilla rocked ass! I was actually moved by this episode. You know, this stuff is not easy to write. You need to make it accessible to a large audience and fresh after six years. I applaud the writers for listening to fan desires and having found a way to merge them with the show's imperative theme--that hope springs eternal in the human breast--by using the conceit of combining our most powerful art form--music--with that which is most powerful and defining in our species--love, to create a force that defeats Evil. Bravo!
shareI enjoyed it. I was surprised they did a musical episode, but I like how it felt like a homage to "Disney" almost.
shareAnd The Evil Queen reeeeeally brought the sexiness back into the show
