Hook/David

What do people think with Hook being responsible for David's dads death? I thought I remember this already being revealed, or was it just a discussion?

Anyway, just wondering what others thought.

I predicted this months ago and a part of me hoped it would not be true and I wonder with hook being a different person and ermma and he family is aware of this how they with try to get past this

I can see it going a few ways:
David won't forgive Hook and things could get ugly
They see it as something in the past -"he's not that guy anymore"

The way I see it, one of the recurring themes of the show is second chances, and how even villains can earn them. As Regina herself has proven, the actions of old Hook, albeit brutal and vengeful in this case, can potentially be redeemed if he owns up to his past to those he has wronged. The best way for him to have done this would have been to fess up to David at the time he asked for his blessing to propose to Emma. Since he didn't do that, he really needs to pluck up the courage to do it now, since he can't in good conscience claim himself to be a changed man with this lie hanging above their marriage. So, I think it would not be his honesty that would be his undoing, but rather, letting the lie persist!

Well at the time Hook did not know it was his father....and like other poster said 'he was different then' tbh his father would have died anyways....so it's like one of those 'the villain dies on his own so as not to taint the hero' I think it's the same thing that will happen in this case.

Also the time line of this show is bonkers.....If hook was young, and the curse hit...he was in never land but wait ....that happened when Rumple was still a mortal......and rumple is hella old.....sooo if right after that he went to never land, he would not be around for kill charming's daddy......even tho his son and charming were the same age.....since his son I think was also trapped in never land...or something...this show
