He just said that "insidious 2" is going to be his last horror movie for a while, because he doesn't want to be typecasted as someone who just does the same thing again and again....but from what the plot reveals the new movie is a thriller but still is all about ghosts and stuff...

Not sure when he said that but most of this movie was shot last year.

He's only one of many producers. He might mean himself at the helm.

Sorry. He's also writing it I see. Ok, that's different. Maybe it was written some time ago? At least he's invested a lot of time on F&F7.
