It’s Good!!!

When I first saw the trailer, my first thought was “please be good! Please be good!”
Too often, films nowadays especially Disney really disappoint. And Fox is owned by Disney.

But…it’s good! Hot damn, this film is really good! This is a solid film, the characters don’t act stupid and are charismatic. They are also well written, no Mary Sues here. The effects have a lot of practical work. The film is well-paced. The actors themselves can actually act! Cailee is great, reminds me of a young Ellen Page, or the one from Rogue One.

The film isn’t perfect. The aliens grew up too quickly, for instance. But this is easily the best Alien film since Aliens. Watch it, don’t watch it, up to you. But I’d be happy to own this film in my collection.
