Really well made, atmospheric, familiar...all too familiar...wait...highlights of the entire franchise?

Lots to like and hate for Alien fans. I did enjoy the big budget treatment, but this soon turned into a fan film, with too many callbacks.

Even the half backed alien human from Alien 4? was there. Incredible the director resisted having his guts pulled out through a hole.

The only original part was the acid blood zero gravity that I did like. The rest was a strange copycat of the best parts of each film of the franchise.

That about sums it up. Too many images, situations and specific lines of dialog from Alien. For the first third or so of the film it was looking pretty good but it went downhill very steeply and wound up feeling like a complete waste of time.

I really did like Andy and almost-Ripley, Rain.
This could of been so much better.

Just curious...of all the callbacks on checklist, is it compulsory in all Alien movies to have an airlock opening climax?
