Another aspect of this film (Spoilers).

I read about all the reviews and how people thought about the movie. They said that basically Clay is Rory and he met the old man and wrote the things as a way of thanking for his work that he stole. It was kind of paying him back for those words which rose him to fame but i have slightly different version. I don't know if it is true or not but this is what i felt.

1. Daniella was the daughter of Celia, i was suspecting that throughout the film.
2. Basically there was no Rory and Dora and even Celia and old man. It was all Clay and he wrote the book himself. He wrote ONE story giving two versions of that story. First he got the book by accidentally purchasing the leather bag while on honeymoon. The second version is,he fell into guilt (again as a part of story) and decided to do the right thing for his mistakenly wrong deeds. So, Clay wrote the second part in which Rory tells the world about his work but still acclaiming it as his own but told to world via fiction story (another book of his) that people will get a new book too and he will pay his price.

So,in short it was the old man first, then Rory, all written by Clay.

I would love to read the comments, of what you think about this version.

What if 'the old man' is Clay,
that would explain Dennis Quaid's brown eyes (in the movie) vs Jeremy Irons' (in real life).

Celia's daughter would be in her late 50's. And how could she have a daughter if she was fictional?

What we got here is... failure to communicate!

LOL! Don't people ever check back to see if what they've written actually makes at least a small degree of sense?🐭
