The Devil's Share - SPOILER ALERT

So the summary of this particular episode in IMDB clearly states or hell , starts with the words Carter's death which is like the biggest spoiler in the whole show if you exclude the last episode spoilers.Even though it probably is against IMDB's rules and guidelines to not reveal spoilers in the summary and even though I tried to change it and reported it ,they still don't seem to have done it.
It got so horribly spoiled for me as that episode was the highest rated one of the show when I started watching it and on opening and me being on the 3rd episode of the series I was shocked to see the words. So can anyone suggest me or help me in removing or changing the summary of that particular episode and make people enjoy the whole series rather than being terribly spoiled.

Nice of you to want to 'plant-a-tree' "...under whose shade you do not expect to sit."

Always gives me hope when someone is better than they have to be.

As for your question...can't help! 

Technically it says "The team seeks justice for Carter's murder"! She died in the previous episode. But the episode aired 3 years ago' it doesn't matter if you live on the moon and it hasn't aired in your particular part of the universe! Why do people think that 'the world should stop turning' because they haven't watched a particular film, TV episode, etc. If you haven't seen something STAY OFF THE INTERNET ALTOGETHER!

Nice job...thank *you*!

Well firstly, who said that I haven't seen it , I have seen the whole series twice. And it doesn't matter that it aired 3 years ago many a people like me decide if they want to watch a series through the internet .And you may have misunderstood my story. When I started this series which was 2 years ago , the third season had aired and this particular episode had the highest imdb rating.I had just started the series and was on the 3rd episode when I opened its imdb page and saw the highest rating and thinking that the summaries of episodes in imdb don't contain spoilers I checked it out and the first words spoiled it for me big time and then the actual reveal was a lot less shocking. So all I want is to have the summary changed so it doesn't ruin the watching experience of some other person because like me many people have the habit of opening imdb pages to maybe the next episode ...

This is quite an impossible thing to ask for because several episodes following the Crossing are based on what happened there. So how can you give a summary?
Same is true for all the other show-sumups on IMDB - how can you ask for them to stay spoiler-free forever in case someone might not have seen it?
And what about youtube - do you never watch youtube clips of your favourite show? The algorythm will present you with further similar clips that will have spoilers in their title like "Carters Death".

I advise you to rethink your viewing attitude. Is it really so important to have the full suspense and getting shocked? That is watching on the surface of the story. In my opinion it is much more interesting to rewatch something that you liked and see how the writers build up the storyline to the climax, how they give clever hints, how the music changes or the light or whatever. That makes the fun of a show after several years after airing.

Firstly I actually don't watch clips or parts of episodes that I haven't watched on youtube I usually check out the trailer of the next upcoming episode only..And as for the shows always being spoiler free , there are literally no spoilers about a heck lot of a shows like Game of Thrones and Daredevil that never really reveal the spoilers in the summary.Sure they give them out in the synopsis but never in the summary. And on checking out the other summaries submitted by the people they all have mentioned , following their team member's death but not explicitly stating Carter and even that builds up suspense that who died but don't just give it all up..I mean how would you like if in the first season last episode of Game of Thrones they explicitly state following Ned Stark's death or after the Red Wedding it states after the butchering of the Stark family(Even though these are known worldwide but for someone who is active on IMDB and is yet to watch it and has managed to steer clear of them it will destroy them)...
And also yeah even I love rewatching an episode or a storyline and how they build up to it but that's good for rewatching not for a first time watch..

Oh dear - your are so serious about such a small thing.

Ned Stark's dead? Well thanks for spoiling it!

bratface23 , Going to be a little Sheldon Coopery but , are you being sarcastic or did you genuinely not know...?
bi-azh , its not really a small thing because that episode which till that point excluding 4th and 5th season was the greatest episode of the series and it got ruined for me.And the whole previous episode I had that in mind that Carter's going to die in this episode and I don't want that to happen to anyone else.

reply

I was being sarcastic. It is really heard to convey sarcasm with the written word.

I know a lot of people hate spoilers, I personally love them. They do not diminish the experience for me.
I just get a bit irritated at people when they complain about spoilers. I watch a few shows that have what others consider spoilers in almost every episode. But as I said earlier stay away from places that have them. You also cannot expect IMDb will or should change any of the episode descriptions.

I am with you there, the Episode Crossfire was my favourite too. I still don't see how it could be possible to avoid spoilers after severeal years.
Currently I am watching The Good Wife, a show that ended after the 7th season and while catching up I naturally was reading about it on IMDB, reviews, ratings and so on and of course I saw that one main character would die in the middle of season 5. But that didn't ruin the tension, it was interesting to see how it would build up to it. Of course there was no longer that shock moment, but I can do without that.
Maybe that is it where we disagree, other things are more important to me. I would never say I watch a show because I enjoy it so much to get shocked. And therefore I hate Game of Thrones, which is a show that is playing on this effect and I don't like to be manipulated like that.
